When I thought the last post about the anime of the past 2022, I wanted to create a big reason for the big discussion, which was missing here. Therefore, it covered for a whole year: many have seen something. The result was generally successful: there was no all -unit scope, but the exchange of views of the places came out productive. And even a little more: from a friend of Scopan3, a proposal was received to make such posts seasonal. It would turn out less, but every three months. I was advanced, but then I thought: why and yes? Let’s try such a tradition!

I propose the following: In the text of the post, I describe a certain concept of the season and select several series under it. And the comments will be the main “collection point” of opinions: we will share impressions from the viewed. Both with the support from the text (if you need to build on something), and completely its own impressions (welcome!). It turns out not quite a smoking room-after all, I will try to make a whole note-but the discussioner.

Actually, winter 2023. The concept of this season in my head has already developed for the third episode. The average anime seeson includes 5-10 excellent and good series, a lot of passing and a lot of slag, the volume of which depends on the horizons of the viewer. There were practically no unequivocally standing TV shows in the same time, but the passage was massively high -quality. None of these look mandatory, but they can be carried away by them if you come up with a clean head.

Before moving on to the main titles for today, we will hook a couple of sequels last season. I deliberately missed them last time – did not end. In addition, on the example of these series, the difference between the average level in the hospital of the past anime seeson and the before the year before last. And this is precisely that the average temperature.

I don’t know what corner to approach so as not to wedge: “The best that I watched in the season,” so I will bring this phrase through the front door. Urusei Yatsura does not look like anime from another league, but the details give out quality. And the more you notice when viewing, the more delight the “aliens” cause. First of all, comedy. It is difficult to describe more precisely, but this is precisely delight, not laughter. Anime in an amazing way can entertain.

In theory, it would be logical to start with a historical reference that is important here, but I considered this option to be beaten. And since the beginning is laid, then you can go to it. Urusei Yatsura is at least the legendary Title: almost 200 episodes, six full -length films, a bunch of ovashki – and this is not the most important thing. At one time I have been working on what I have listed Mamoru Osia And Hideaki Anno. And were on the forefront. The legacy of the “aliens” can be traced regularly: almost every one and a half title borrows ideas and techniques. But all this is a little about something else.

The current anime is a new, more modern adaptation designed to introduce a new audience to the franchise. In my opinion, David Productions coped with their task. I ask for the old people scolding lovers in the comment, but here I will try to explain my position. To be honest, I admit: my acquaintance with the first anime is limited to about twenty minutes of different fragments on YouTube after the beginning of the new series. The difference between old and new is noticeable, and it is not even about technical performance. New adaptation is highlighted by the increased pace of the narrative. All actions became noticeably faster, and this works on the comedic part. The solution is controversial, but it seems to me justified. Starting with this, the old anime is hard to watch.

Moreover, the attitude of the new “aliens” to the old is not at all a disdemnation. On the contrary, the work of David Productions highlights respect for Japanese eighties. It does not rush right away, but the details of comedy animation, characters’ replicas and especially the sound component are retro -like. What is there: both ophening look and sound with an eye on the era. In the end, compare the voices of the main characters: the characters sound to the incredible close.

Here, of course, it is impossible not to highlight the voice of the lam. Hear her Daalin ’ – a separate type of pleasure.

If you look at Urusei Yatsura from another corner, then the quality of the source material is noticeable. Is it a joke-an anime created in the 45-year-old manga, manages to be more inventive and therefore fresh of its modern brothers. Thus, the “aliens” show who the real original is here and who is only a copy.

It is very difficult to talk about this Title, never getting acquainted with the original source or at least manga adaptation. Opinions in the community are strictly polar, and the border passes precisely according to the knowledge of Title: the experts of the “shadows” compare anime with the ground, and ordinary spectators enjoy great pleasure. Exceptions are found, and there are many of them. And so that the judgment looks more objective, I ask you to take this into account in advance.

Anime itself complicates his life for biased spectators, began to begin. The first series of “Ascent” look like any other Iceaki with a superpower of the main character and his combat harem: history does not stand out close;The world is not shown from the word “completely”;Humor-the main charm of Title-is served in the form of irony of such a deep meta-level that in order to read it at times, one must be the same as an expert on the Japanese fellow.

Somewhere by the seventh-eight series, the title begins to correct, and the main story finally begins to twist in it and the local world is revealed. This allows you to realize at least the scale of the idea. Unusual, however, the setting is not distinguished: a typical Japanese fantasy mixed with technology of the 19th century. However, the title managed to interestingly enter the actors into it, which adds a surroundings of credibility. And, which in reality the most important, the humorous part also advanced and spun the flywheel of simple, easily read jokes. True, the meta-irony now, even more demanding, but buying this good receive a fundamentally different level of pleasure. Really good scenes were added to this place (I won’t say which, because I will ruin the atomic pleasure), so the series began to go closer to the end of the year.

By the way, if you look from the side, then the main plot that has begun in the second third is repetitive. The standard arch looks like this: a large event should occur in some place of the world. The protagonist arrives there according to the needs of his “ordinary” alter ego, and there he performs his tasks with a combat harem. After a while, they show their power to others, fulfill the task and disappear. The protagonist against the backdrop catches a fan, sometimes different … spoiler. The structure is too noticeable so that it is not at all annoying, but the difference in the details brightens up enough so as not to cause pain and maintain interest.

From the couple of Dyuzhin TV shows that interested me at the beginning of the season, I chose four suitable “good passage”, and at the same time most different. I send the rest again in the commentary: read about another, and write yours.

The Spy Class was lucky with PR companies. Without investing almost nothing supernortrative, Title gathered a potential audience in the wave of hype Spy X Family. And this is a sign of another genre – haremnikov. In a sense, SPY ROOM is.

To enjoy this anime, you have to fight a little with prejudices. The fact is that it is completely three -dimensional with typical disadvantages: puppet animations, a minimum of detail and very strange effects. Progress in comparison, say, with “Deadly Duke”, noticeable, but far from a good level.

Kayne should give a chance at least for the sake of the world in which the action takes place. Although we are made to understand that the environment can be called a post -lane, the narrative does not focus on the fact that it is “life after”. Due to which the world is more perceived as pure science fiction, which is difficult to attribute to the established settings such as cosmo -opera. He is unusual and interesting, inventive, even if borrowing can be seen in places. For example, I really liked the concept of divided humanity and the peoples leaked out of this belief.

And in this world a fairly ordinary story is spinning. Princess who lives a peaceful life of a protagonist pulls on the path of adventure. The classic path of the hero is not disguised and not distorted. But here he is to the place. Such a simple plot is very suitable for the world, and the story looks organic.

For what. Why pay attention to it. This is the most ordinary everyday life with anime girls. Except that the tie that sounds as beautiful as the tie of anime can sound as generally. There is no story really, the characters and events are completely ordinary. So why, why Bind Studio, created specifically for adapting “Reincarnation of the unemployed”, The composition of which includes top -free industry workers, took up this!?

However, one cannot but give the anime the due. High quality is noticeable from the first to the last frame. The visual style is very much different from the usual one, but this difference is quietly playing the lightness and comedian of what is happening. The characters are gorgeously worked out if you compare even with their color versions from manga. Animation is also too high for such titles. Personnel movements were issued as the last time.

And the picture looks so good due to the joint work of the animators and the main director. Angles and actions look very non -standard, and intentionally broken drawing and good animation make the visual really interesting. I will not confidently say, but I believe that this is precisely the peculiarity of adaptation. Perhaps it is worth checking a couple of chapters of manga to clarify. In any case, the adaptation did not withdraw history from the category of passing, but otherwise it is a good anime.

Probably the most curious anime of the season. “Tomo is a girl!” asks the most important question for the industry: what is more important – a character or work of his voice actor. True, in our case, we are talking about actresses. The creators of the anime very much wanted to convey the charm of the main character – Tomo boys – and therefore took it to her role Rie Takahashi. She is Emilia, she is Megumin, she is Takagi, she is, perhaps, the talented Seyu generation. And she does not fail: in every remark, diligence is heard, and the acting range cannot but surprise. This is really a great job. But then comes into effect Rina Hidak, which in the image of Misuza – Tomo’s friends – plays out one of the two habitual images. And steals each of its scene. Sorry for the stamp, but watching Misuza is a special pleasure.

Otherwise, “Tomo – Girl” is a representative of the “School Romkom” genre. I want to write “typical”, but this is not quite. Title is much closer to Bestgirlism than classic representatives. The plot immediately distinguishes the main character, on the “especially” which is built, but, unlike sisters in the genre, pays considerable attention to secondary characters. Title gives them more personality and plot lines than accepted. Not that a deep level, but somewhat amazing. These characters continue to remain in their second place, but are not single -assembled blanks.

And such a great emphasis on the development of heroes plays in a plus of comedy, which is just on the images and is built. Such stories are not famous for the variety of humor, but it is precisely due to the slightly greater development of the characters, Tomo has a space for a maneuver in a comedy. The outcome of the plot, of course, is clear from the very beginning. I will give a small spoiler: the anime really ends, and does not break off after the control point. So, in such stories, not the ending is of interest, but the path of heroes to it. And with him the situation is twofold: on the one hand, it is as such that there is no way here. The Title is too overwhelming towards the internal development of the characters than the promotion of relations between them. Such a mixture gives rise to boring internal monologues, which, fortunately, are smoothed out by humor. As a result, we generally have an average story that does not leave the characters. A typical situation for anime, do not find?

With work Lay-DUCE I am a little familiar, but managed to note for myself the progress between the work of the studio. Their last series to Tomo – “To become a real heroine” – Already reached the level of “good”;Within the framework of the genre, of course. I will probably come on which side. At first, reading the manga, and then depending on the anime, I caught myself thinking that the emotions I received from this title are very similar to them from “Vanpanchmen”. And it’s not so much about the similarity of the main characters: both are strong, both fall into comic situations because of their abilities and alternative giftedness, both are balanced on a thin web between the cring and pathos. But rather, we are talking about the adoption of the rules of Title. The next paragraph can be jumped.

Chanced? Actually, to what I wrote the canvas above: the amount of pleasure received from the “climb in the shade” is directly proportional to the reader’s readiness to accept the rules of Title. From my bell tower 150+ Titles (and taking into account the path to the adoption of Vanpanchman), I was completely ready for the “ascent …” – and it absolutely satisfied me despite some cardboard and the pattern of the world and characters (which, rather, should not be attributed to the shortcomings, but “artistics Choiz”).
But I can also imagine the thoughts of those who did not like the Title – standard ISYKAI, unsolved by the harem, pathos gg (which everything is relatively easily obtained), mediocre action. Although the production is still good.
So I understand both the supporters of Title (that is, himself) and his opponents. Title – to a special taste and mood, but if it comes in, it will give the ocean of pleasure.

By the way, the human perception is surprisingly, but for himself he noted the following: Title’s opponents and unfamiliar with the original praised the first series, expected to continue in the same way, but received that they received.
I, waiting for the year and familiar with the manga (for the anime, the source is still Ranobe), was perplexed from the first series-she had already come to me somehow post-fact.
So I think that the general impression of Title and such a polarity of opinions was also influenced by the eternal confrontation of “expectation – reality”.
